Notice is hereby given to all persons interested that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Olympia Fields, Cook County, Illinois, will hold the continuation of a public hearing, on November 10th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the hearing will be to consider an application filed by Recovery & Rehabilitation, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company authorized to transact business in Illinois as RoseHeart Renewal Center and All Nations Assembly Church, Inc. The request is for a zoning map amendment from R-1 One Family Residence to MD-1 Medical District and a Special Use to operate a 120-bed alcoholism and substance abuse treatment facility in accordance with Section 22-333 of the Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at the southwest corner of 203rd Street and Governors Highway. It is currently owned and operated by All Nations Assembly Church and has previously been known as the Tolentine Center. The property contains approximately 22 acres. The property address is 20300 Governors Highway, PIN #31-14-301-005-0000.
Given the Covid-19 pandemic, the public hearing will be held as a Zoom virtual meeting over the internet. Interested parties may not attend in person, but can contact the Building Commissioner with questions, comments, or concerns that can be read into the record at the hearing. Comments may be submitted via email at PUBLICCOMMENTS@OLYMPIA-FIELDS.COM. On request, the Building Commissioner will send a copy of the variance request and/or a link to the Zoom meeting to allow residents to participate in the meeting. However, any such request must be received at least 24 hours prior to the start of the public hearing. The above application is open to inspection at the office of the Village Clerk, 20040 Governors Highway, Olympia Fields, Illinois 60461-1089 during regular business hours.
At the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear testimony from and consider any evidence presented by persons interested in this matter, including their attorneys or other representatives. In addition, objections and other comments, if any, relating to the application may be made in writing and filed with the Building Commissioner before the hearing or with the Planning and Zoning Commission at the hearing.
